About GAYLE

GAYLE was born June 10, 2004, in Plano, Texas. Her musical journey began at a young age, inspired by jazz and soul vocalists like Ella Fitzgerald and Aretha Franklin. In 2020 she dropped her debut single dumbass, which laid the foundation for her signing to Atlantic Records/Arthouse Records in the same year. 

Two years later she released her debut EP, a study of the human experience volume one, that delves into the profound emotions of connection, vulnerability, and unapologetic self-expression. Her hit single, abcdefu, became a chart-topping sensation, earning her a GRAMMY nomination and several prestigious awards. She didn't stop there, returning to the studio for a study of the human experience volume two, which delves deeper into her personal journey and storytelling.

Kickstart

In 2023, GAYLE released several singles, including leave me for dead. The single is about an unhealthy relationship that is full of red flags. With this single, GAYLE will be the XITE Kickstart artist of the month November! Every month XITE chooses an artist to put in the spotlight.
